Paradise. First word that comes to mind when I think of Boracay Island. Sure, I may be biased having been born in the Philippines, but go for a visit and then we’ll talk!
If you’re like me, you’ll be avoiding the crowded White Beach and escaping into the ocean as soon as possible. Boracay has some absolutely beautiful dive sites and is a paradise for kiteboarders. The food is delicous, the locals are the salt of the earth, and the scenery is breathtaking. What more could one ask for?
If you’re looking to get certified in SCUBA diving or want to go on some fun dives, you’ve find the right spot. There aren’t a lot of places in the world that you can dive in a bikini, explore sunken boats and planes, and relax with a mojito on the white sand beach after.
I did some fun dives and a couple of courses with Free Willy Diving. Featured in the above video are sites Yapak 1, Yapak 2, Tri Bird Plane Wreck, Balinghai 1, and Angol Point.
This video from 2014 is a fun throwback for me, being the very first edit I’ve done! Stumbling through Adobe Premiere for the first time was a headache, but a much needed learning experience!
